This page lists information to help prepare a plan of study for the Master of Engineering in Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles, quick links for new and current students, and links to student forms.

Completing and Submitting the Plan of Study

Each admitted student for the Master of Engineering in Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles must

  • Download a "Microsoft Office Word" version of the plan of study form, complete the form and submit the form electronically to roboautovehicles@umich.edu.
  • If the student does not have access to "Microsoft Office Word," a pdf version of the plan of study is also available to download. If the student is not sure of what courses to take, he or she should at least complete as much as possible of a draft plan of study. To help the student complete the plan of study, links to course descriptions, UM course schedules, program curriculum, etc. follow.
  • The Advisor will review the electronic copy of the plan of study and then work with the student to finalize the plan of study.
  • Once the plan of study is finalized the Director of the program will give final approval. The approved plan of study will be kept in the student’s folder. The student will be notified by email that the plan of study was approved and an approved copy of the plan of study will be sent to the student electronically.
