To be eligible for graduation, students must have their plan of study approved by their faculty advisor and on file in the InterPro office. At the beginning of the semester that you plan to graduate, go to Wolverine Access, log in and apply to graduate. If you are pursuing a joint degree, you must apply for graduation for both programs.
Winter Commencement
Students who graduate at the end of the Fall semester or Summer semester can choose to attend the Winter Commencement ceremony. Winter Commencement is limited to a University-wide ceremony. Graduating InterPro students can walk in this ceremony. Requirements for and information about the University-wide Winter Commencement are available at http://www.umich.edu/~gradinfo/winter/.
The College of Engineering hosts a brunch on the Sunday of the University-wide Winter Commencement; brunch precedes the ceremony http://www.engin.umich.edu/students/graduation/.

Spring Commencement
Students who graduate at the end of the Fall semester can choose to participate in the Spring Commencement ceremonies, along with candidates who are graduating at the end of the Winter semester and students who plan on graduating at the end of the Summer semester. These commencement ceremonies have a University-wide component, a College of Engineering component, and a Rackham Graduate School component. (The Rackham Graduate School component is for Financial Engineering students only). InterPro students are encouraged to attend the College of Engineering ceremonies as they will be individually recognized by an InterPro representative. For students who are graduating at the end of Summer semester, there is no graduation ceremony in August, but they may attend the Spring Commencement ceremony prior or Winter Commencement subsequent.
InterPro holds a special recognition dinner in March to recognize its recent and upcoming graduates. All students are encouraged to attend to celebrate.
The InterPro Office Needs to Know If You Are Graduating
InterPro graduate coordinators periodically download the names of students who have applied to graduate. They check the graduating students' Plans of Study to make sure they are ready to graduate. If the graduate coordinators find anything graduating students need to know regarding their Plans of Study, they will contact the student.
The InterPro Office Sends a Reminder
The InterPro office sends a group email to all InterPro students at the beginning of each semester reminding them that if they are ready to graduate, they need to apply to graduate through Wolverine Access.
